SERVICE AREA
The electrical system of your cooperative is much bigger than most people realize. The area covers all, or parts, of 9 counties (Adair, Chariton, Knox, Linn, Macon, Monroe, Randolph, Shelby and Sullivan). In these counties, your cooperative has 2,900 miles of primary line serving over 11,300 connected meters.
Macon Electric Cooperative is dedicated to serving this large area with continuous central station electric service at the lowest possible cost, consistent with sound management principles, and reliable service.
