Tim Korman, CEO of Macon Electric Cooperative, Macon, was recently appointed as a district representative to the 2024-25 Internal Operations Committee of the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives (AMEC), Jefferson City. AMEC is the service organization of the state's 47 electric cooperatives, which serve more than 580,000 businesses and homes.

            As a member of the Internal Operations Committee, Korman will be responsible for activities concerned primarily with the internal operation of AMEC. The objective is to provide the needed services jointly required by Missouri electric cooperatives and those required to ensure a smooth daily operation of AMEC.
