Macon Electric Cooperative invites area first responders to attend a Live Line Safety Demonstration on Monday, September 28 at Macon Electric Cooperative. Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m., with the demonstration beginning at 6:00 p.m.

This approximately two-hour demonstration will provide valuable, hands-on education about electrical line safety, including how to safely respond to downed power lines, vehicle accidents involving electrical equipment, and other electrical emergencies. This training is designed to help firefighters, law enforcement, EMS personnel, and other first responders recognize electrical hazards and respond safely when every second counts.
